Request deletion of your Orbit account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to request deletion
- Send an email from your registered email ID address to delete@ginit.in.
- Use the subject: Account deletion request.
- In the message, include: your account email and a clear confirmation that you want your account deleted.
- We’ll verify the request and schedule deletion. You’ll receive a confirmation email.
Deletion timeline
We delete account-related data within 30 days after we receive your request, if you do not log in during that period. If you sign in within 30 days, the deletion request is canceled automatically.
What data is deleted vs kept
Deleted
- Account profile (email, display name, user ID)
- Authentication sessions and tokens
- Group memberships and following data
- User-generated content (messages, posts, comments) where applicable
- App preferences and local settings linked to your account
- Notification tokens used for push notifications
Kept (for a limited time)
- Security, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance logs
- Server backups that may contain limited remnants for up to 30 days, after which they are purged
- Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data (cannot be linked back to you)
Some content created in shared spaces may be anonymized rather than removed where required to preserve conversation continuity or for legal reasons.
